I used the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test pack. I have nothing to comment. It is perfect.

I got the TEAS tests. I found this website to be very helpful. The practice tests are almost identical to the real test; they have helped me a lot in studying.

I'm happy to report that my 3rd grade niece took her SCAT test and passed the quantitative math portion with flying colors - 44 of 50 correct! Your test preps were a huge help.

Just the timing aspect alone helped me mentally prepare for the time constraint. The other major thing that helped me was the math tips study guide.

I got the NYC G&T Level B tests. Overall it was great, because my child passed the test on the first attempt! The practice questions were indispensable. My child found the videos less engaging and they seemed to be geared toward a slower audience. The price was just right.

About the IEGAT

IE University's admission test has been designed as a screening tool for applicants about to enter academic programs. The test comes in two formats, including online and pen & paper. Learn more about the different formats.

One of the main differences is that the IE does not require knowledge in specific mathematical areas such as algebra, geometry, and probability. The main concern of the math section of the test are concepts related to arithmetic, including full control over the four basic operations, percentages, and ratios.

In many ways, this test resembles aptitude tests in the sense that the same numerical and logical rules and reasoning are required to succeed.

The IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT) is designed to assess your decision-making in the context of management and under pressure. There are three types of questions concerning the ieGAT, namely: verbal, numerical, and diagrammatical questions.

All three types of questions are mixed throughout the test, with the first two types usually intertwined within the same set of questions. You have 80 minutes to complete the test, and it becomes increasingly harder.

Questions can be characterized in the following ways:

Verbal Comprehension and Reasoning
These are verbal reasoning questions. You are presented with a passage and after reading it you answer two questions about the passage. The questions are used to determine your comprehension of written, formal, and professional English. The context of the passages is usually in the economic frame, dealing with topics such as GDP and unemployment. Questions are multiple-choice, and some may require you to submit more than one correct answer.

Numerical Comprehension, Reasoning, and Calculation
These questions are numerical reasoning questions. For this type of question, the information is presented through graphs, as you are expected to display your skills in data analysis. By looking at different graphs, you should be able to quickly draw information, process it, and arrive to desired conclusions by making some educated calculations. The purpose of this section is not to measure your mathematical capacity, but rather your ability to process the data. The most common type of questions is based on percentages and ratios.

Logical-Abstract Reasoning with Symbols
For this test, you are presented with a series of shapes and symbols representing an operation. Your task in this section is to identify what is the role of the symbol and its function. In order to do this, you need not only strong visualization skills, but also the ability to draw conclusions and reason with multiple shapes simultaneously. Follow the instruction set presented to arrive at the right answer.

ieGAT Formats

The ieGAT is offered in two formats, including online and pen & paper. Keep in mind that you don't always know which version of the exam you'll be taking. We, therefore, recommend familiarizing yourself as much as possible with both versions of the exam.

Online Format

You are to answer True, False, Cannot Say. Without breaks, the test takes approximately 87 minutes to complete. There are seven sections, each with their own instructions and time constraints:

  • Graphic Numerical Reasoning: Deduce graph and its qualities from given instructions, 36 questions, 15 minutes.
  • Verbal Reasoning:  Deduce company and its qualities from given passage, 49 questions, 12 minutes.
  • Applied Numeracy: Deduce from given problem factors such as area and distance,20 questions, 16 minutes.
  • Deductive Logical Thinking: Deduce which symbol aligns with which change, 10 questions, 5 minutes.
  • Inductive Logical Thinking: Categorize 6 given diamonds according to colors and patterns, 12 questions, 12 minutes
  • Information Handling: Prioritize and process given company emails according to instructions, 1 question, 15 minutes
  • Creativity: Create a unique image from given shapes and give it a title, 1 question, 15 minutes

Pen & Paper Format

The test begins with four economic articles, each of which is followed by nine questions. These include a mixture of both verbal comprehension and numerical reasoning questions. All questions are multiple-choice and include four options to choose from. Note that sometimes there is more than one correct answer.

In the second section of the exam, you are given logical reasoning questions (similar to those found in the online version of the test). There are approximately six questions per section. There are four numerical/verbal reasoning sections and four logical thinking sections.

In total the test contains 60 questions, and has a time constraint of 80 minutes.

ieGAT Practice & Preparation

The reasoning behind the test is to assess your natural ability to process information, plan accordingly, and think strategically. Nonetheless, these skills do not come naturally to all people and this does not mean it cannot be trained. By looking at some of the questions, you can already draw some conclusions as to the type of reasoning that will be required for the remainder of the test.

Studies show that preparing for some of these tests can help you at the day of the test. This is manifested by an increase of self-confidence, a sharp mind that is wired in the right mindset, reasoning that is more accurate and precise, and ultimately, a higher result on the test.

The key to succeeding lies with proper preparation. Start preparing with ample time to ensure a right study environment. Two weeks of moderate practice should suffice, so that you may study in a matter that is most suitable for you. You can opt for either having small breaks in between questions, or a longer break fewer times a day.

Remember that our pack allows you to retake any of the practice tests and compare your progress by looking at the results. Be organized and prepare your study sessions in advance. Try to focus when reading the explanations and you can check your understanding of them by rewriting the solution in your own words.

How To Use Our ieGAT Practice Pack

Make your ONE shot at the ieGAT count! The recommended way to approach our practice pack is the following:

  • Start by reading all the guides and the description about the test. It is important to understand the structure of the test and what to expect from it. Once you fully comprehend the nature of the test, you can start practicing the exercises.
  • Go over any samples included in the guide, then proceed to solve all the questions. You can either try and solve all the questions and then review your solutions based on our explanations or read the solutions of the first few questions on each section and try to learn the logic required to solve the rest.
  • Make a summary of the different strategies used to solve all the questions and review them. You can retake the tests many times and go over your solution, the logic applied, and improve and compare your performance with our detailed score reports.
